Beliefs

What we believe, we live into.

What we believe isn't possible.. Is never, ever possible.

I believe that anything is possible.

I'll give you a couple of examples about changing beliefs...

In my younger days:

I was 15, I moved out of home and I was going for job interviews. I had a belief (I was religious at this stage) that if I went to church before I went to the job interview, I would get the job.

I also I believed that if I didn't make the effort to go to church before the job interview, then I wouldn't get the job.

That was self prophesying.

What did it do to me if I went to church before I went to the job interview..?

I showed up with certainty, with bravado, with absolute confidence that I was going to be the one to get the job.

If I believed I wasn't going to, if I believed that I didn't go to church beforehand.. I would believe I wouldn't get the job.

I would then show up differently as well.

I would show up as uncertain, not confident, and therefore it was self prophesizing.

I didn't get the job because I attended church.. I got the job because of how I would perform in the interview based on my belief that if I went to church beforehand then I would get the job.

What beliefs do you have?

What is holding you back?

I had a heckler at a keynote I spoke at a little while ago...

At the end of my speech I finished with"I believe anything is possible." He said, "Mary, you're very inspiring and you've moved the crowd today, but I have to tell you that not everything or anything is possible because you can't grow taller."

Well.. he had a bit of a point, didn't he?

(I am quite short too)

So I looked around the room and there was this big road case at the side of the room.. a big black box. I rolled it over to him, I climbed up and stood on top of the box and I said "If we think outside the box, We can often appear to have whatever we want. So I may not be able to grow taller, but I can appear taller by standing on top of an object."

So what are your beliefs doing to you?

What are your beliefs about money?

What are your beliefs about being a millionaire?

What are your beliefs about being a billionaire?

What are your beliefs about what's possible?

What are your beliefs about success?

Which of your beliefs are accelerating you in your career and which of your beliefs are holding you back?

A lot of your unconscious beliefs about 'money' or about 'right and wrong' or about 'good and bad' are programmed into us between the ages of 0-7. This is the imprint period that we talk about quite a bit.

What are your unconscious programs that you are running?

What are your beliefs that are impacting your acceleration in your career or stalling your career, your business, or your life?
